Naturheld ADB 5 – vapour retarder below the insulation
An airtight, rainproof vapour retarder (Sd 5 m) that can be walked on, with a self-adhesive overlap zone.
A three-layer membrane — a functional layer reinforced on both sides with PP non-woven fabric. It is laid on the warm side, below the insulation: on the sheathing above the rafters or on a CLT panel, with the naturheld boards on top. It is airtight and rainproof and protects the structure for up to 12 weeks during construction (from a 10° pitch). It is not laid on top of the boards — a vapour-permeable underlay such as naturheld LDB 0.02 (Sd 0.02 m) goes there.
